Alfred Park Accommodation is a beautifully restored heritage building built in 1848 for a whaling boat captain. But don't be fooled by the fascade! The new block at the rear is more like motel style accommodation. So whether you're looking for dormitory beds at a budget or private rooms with ensuite, we've got what you want.
The new owners are restoring and renovating the building to further improve the facilities and comfort of their Guests. In fact, another 4 rooms have been renovated this week (18th March 2006).
We are located close to Central Railway Station just opposite Prince Alfred Park, which has its own swimming pool and tennis courts. Chinatown, Darling Harbour, Centrepoint Tower and Sydney's main shopping centre are just a brisk walk away. We are also within walking distance of the Sydney Football Stadium, Cricket Ground, Centennial Park and the new Fox Studios. Trains, buses and taxi fares to these places are also very reasonable.

General Prices subject to change from time to time without notice prior to bookings being accepted. Bookings are transferable with sufficient notice (10 days or more).
All guests must observe the rules and regulations of our Hotels.
Arrival and Check-out Times The Hotel Office is open for check-in from 8:00a.m - 11p.m. Checkout time is 10am on the day of departure.
For Christmas and New Years Bookings (Arriving 18th Dec to 3rd Jan inclusive) payment will be charged in full after we receive your booking. Please note that cancellations will only be refunded 50% of balance charged by us. More than 1 week notice required for cancellations or there will be no refund.
General Cancellations: Must be made with more than 48 hours notice or 1 day accommodation will be charged. Please ensure you receive confirmation from us via email or fax of your cancellation.
NOTE: XMAS and New Year bookings. We may require full payment in advance prior to your arrival. Also, we will only refund 50% of balance outstanding of any subsequent cancellation during the period 18th Dec to 3rd Jan inclusive.
Alfred Park has a strict safety and security policy. Any accidentally activation of our fire alarm by use of sprays, smoke, steam, heat which results in Fire Brigade attendance may result in the guest paying a fine issued by the NSW Fire Brigade (Approx. AUD$275). This will be charged to your card.
