Amadeus Hostel Berlin is a central located house with excellent public transportation connection. It provides large rooms in all types (single, twin, triple, dorms etc.) with shared showers and toilets on each floor&෧ smoking & non-smoking rooms available. The rooms are located in a quiet courtyard. Breakfast is possible from EUR 3,99/person up in a cafe or bakery nearby. Amadeus Hostel Berlin is located in the north part of downtown. 占쏙옙Alexanderplatz占쏙옙 which is only 6 minutes by underground away is a good starting point to get to the Museum Island (Pergamonmuseum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Altes Museum, Bodemuseum), the boulevard 占쏙옙Unter den Linden占쏙옙 (Humboldt-University, Staatsoper) and the area around 占쏙옙Hackescher Markt占쏙옙 with its fine cafes, restaurants and boutiques. In the neighbourhood of the hostel占쏙옙s location is "Prenzlauer Berg", one of the most popular quarter in Berlin to go clubbing and discover Berlin占쏙옙s nightlife. Within walking distance you find two parks ("Mauerpark" & "Volkspark Humboldthain") where you can relax or play tennis, soccer, go swimming etc., also particularly suitable for travellers with children. A shopping center with a wide variety of goods is just one underground stop away at the "Gesundbrunnen". The Berlin Wall Memorial with its documentation center at the 占쏙옙Bernauer Str.占쏙옙, an area situated at the former border between East and West, is just one underground stop nearby. Distances from Amadeus Hostel Berlin to the following stations/places: - "Alexanderplatz": 2,00 km or about 6 minutes by underground. - " Friedrichstrasse" (east city): about 15 minutes by underground/train. - "Zoologischer Garten" (west city): 5,00 km or about 20 minutes by public transportation. - "Tegel Airport": about 25 minutes by public transportation. - 占쏙옙 Schoenefeld Airport占쏙옙: about 50 minutes by public transportation. - "Ostbahnhof": about 15 minutes by public transportation. -占쏙옙Hauptbahnhof占쏙옙 (central station): about 20 minutes by public transportation. Important: Check-in should be at least until 5 p.m., otherwise you are advised to inform the reception in advance. The reception is opened from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. No curfew.

Amadeus Friendly staff but very large uncharacteristic hostel, quite long spooky corridors. Shower floors a bit on the grim side. Nice powerful showers though. Location pretty good, great cheap accommodation if you're there for a short stay and out and about a lot like us not spending much time in the accommodation. Click here to see more reviews

How to get to Amadeus Hostel Berlin (next public station: underground line U8 "Voltastrasse" which is across the hostel (1 minute on foot)) from following stations/places: - "Tegel Airport": take bus line 128 to 占쏙옙Osloer Str.占쏙옙, get off and take underground line U8 (direction 占쏙옙Hermannstr.占쏙옙). Get off at 占쏙옙Voltastr.占쏙옙. About 30 minutes by public transportation. - 占쏙옙 Schoenefeld Airport占쏙옙: take bus line 171 and get off at the station 占쏙옙Rudow占쏙옙, change to the underground line U7 (direction 占쏙옙Rathaus Spandau占쏙옙), get off at the station 占쏙옙Hermannplatz占쏙옙 and change to the underground line U8 (direction 占쏙옙Wittenau占쏙옙) and get off at 占쏙옙Voltastr.占쏙옙-station.
