The European Guest House is centally located south of market (SOMA) are between downtown and castro, The European Guest House is an old victorian building with 24 hours access. we have a common lounge with satelite T.V, full kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee in the morning, also a roof garden with a great view for the whole city or take a sun-bath. The hostel is clean, quit and cozy. The hostel is close to all the major attractions and sites. we are also just three blocks to the cable cars, convention center,san francisco visitor bureau, and sony movie complex. The hostel is also close to all the public transportations including BART station. The hostel is also walking distance to civic center, city hall, public library, and china town. Just two blocks away are all the major night clubs, and exotic restuarants.All cancellation must be 48 hours in advance notice prior to arrival. kitchen group meal program is completely managed by guests, management has no involvement.
A very good hostel The location of hostel is very good because it's close to one of the major streets so usually it's not a problem to find public transport to and from hostel if you don't mind short walk. The staff is friendly and helpful.
From the san francisco international airport take BART to the civic center station. Once you get off at the BART station just walk 11/2 block south and turn left on Minna street to #761.
From Greyhound / Sam Trans bus terminal take the #14 bus to 9th and Mission street, walk 1/2 block south and turn right on Minna to #761.
