Hedonisia Hawaii is a hostel set in the wild, lush tropical rainforests of the Puna Region of Hawaii. Our accommodations are eco-friendly and rustic.
However, our location is very central&? close to all the major attractions of east Hawaii such as the ''hippie'' town of Pahoa, the live lava flows of Kiluea Volcano, the Volcanic Steam vents, the Kapoho hot springs and Kehena Clothing Optional Beach.
We offer a number of accommodation options in Hawaii for those who wish to enjoy a beautiful jungle vacation in the heart of the Big Island yet close to all the major attractions of East Hawaii such as Kapoho Hot Springs or the live Lava Flows of nearby Kilauea Volcano.
a) We provide dormitory style indoor tent space accommodation in ''The Barn''. The Barn is a covered building just to the rear of the main house. Even though guests will be sleeping inside we provide tent space accommodations inside as protection against mosquitoes and for privacy. Guests have indicated again and again that they prefer our Indoor Camping option as opposed to sleeping in dormitory style bunk beds as in the case with most other hostels in the world.
b) The Bamboo Hut. This is a cute little hut a little further away from The Barn. It is ideal for couples or for those who wish to enjoy a little more privacy.
There are 3.72 acres of wild land for guests to explore. The land includes a gigantic volcanic crater with a mini-jungle at the bottom.
Guests have shared bathroom and kitchen facilities and free local and toll- free calls.
Flat $10 rate for unlimited Internet access. In addition you may bring your own laptop for free wireless Internet access from our hostel.
