Lollis Homestay is located in the middle of the "Neustadt", the lively pub and nightlife district of Dresden. You will find all of the pubs and clubs just around the corner, and you will stay in Europes largest late 19th century style neighborhood. Some houses in this quarter used to be squatted in the beginning of the 90's, but changed and is now full of fashion and second hand shops, pubs, galeries and record stores.
Here still live punks as well as laywers next to, it's a colourful mixture of different world outlooks and and ways of living. Life still happens on the street, especially during our neighborhood festival the, "Colorful Republic Neustadt", in the middle of June.
It's less then 15 minutes to the next train station and it's only 4 stations by tram to the historic downtown. The famous Alaunpark is only 50m away, where, especially in summer time, all kinds of people go to relax.

from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof): Catch tram No. 7 direction "Weixdorf". Leave the tram at "Bischofsweg" Turn right onto Bischofsweg for about 400m. Take the third street to the right, you will find us after 100m. time approx. 20 min, 5 min to walk, 500m to walk
From the Neustadt train station: Leave the station through the main exit. Go straight forward on "Antonstrasse". You will cross a square, called "Albertplatz". Keep on walking straight, the street is now called "Bautzner Strasse". Turn left at the next crossing, onto "Rothenburger Strasse". After 500m the street changes it's name to "Gorlitzer Stasse". We are at the next crossing to the right. time 15-20 min, approx. 1500m to walk
If you don't want to walk, take tram No. 11 direction "Buhlau" or No. 6 direction "Niedersedlitz" just for two stops to station "Bautzner/Rothenburger Strasse". Here you change to tram No. 13 direction "Mickten" and go again two stops to the station "Alaunplatz". Now you just have to walk back along the tramline for 100m. time aprox. 15 min, 1 min to walk, 100m to walk
From the airport: The easiest way is to catch a train from the airport to the Neustadt railway station and then follow the steps shown above. time approx. 60 minutes You can also catch bus No. 77, and change to tram No. 7 at station "Karl- Marx-Strasse". Leave tram No. 7 at station "Bischofsweg", turn left onto Bischofsweg for approx. 400m. Take the third street (Gorlitzer Strasse) to the right, you will find us after 100 m. time 30 - 40 min, 5 min to walk, 500m to walk
By car: Attention! There are hardly any parking spaces and many one way roads.
Leave the Highway at the exit "Hellerau" and drive along the main road to the town center. Turn left at McDonalds on to "Fritz-Reuter-Strasse", pass underneath some rail bridges, cross the next big intersection. The street is now called "Bischofsweg". On your left hand side is a big green square. At the end of it turn right on to "Kamenzer Strasse" and turn right again into the next street, called "Sebnitzer Strasse". Our entrance is about 200m on your left hand side, just before the next intersection.
Here you can drop your luggage. Then turn right onto "Gorlitzer Strasse", turn right the next street again on to "Bischofsweg". (You of course try to get the next free parking space you can get). At the end of the park you turn left on to "Kamenzer Strasse" and drive around the park. At the other end of the park, a bit above the other area and just 5 minutes away from the hostel are always free and legal parking spaces.
