The Hall is situated in a residential area, close to the major London attractions of the South Bank and the West End. It is within walking distance of the main tourist sights, including: The River Thames, The London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, and The Imperial War Museum which is a 2 minute walk away, which offers interesting exhibitions through-out the year. The hall is well placed for Waterloo International Station, with regular services on the Eurostar to Paris and Brussels.
The hall comprises of 73 rooms, arranged in a mixture of single and twin bedrooms with washbasin, wardrobe, desk, central heating and fitted carpet. The bathroom/shower and WC facilities are shared on a ratio of 1 to 6. There are shared, fully equipped kitchens on each floor where hot snacks and drinks can be prepared. There is a lift, coin operated laundry and a common room with TV on the ground floor. This hall also has a double flat with it’s own kitchenette and bathroom. The hall has 24-hour access and security, with CCTV in the main entrance. Friendly, efficient staff are on hand to welcome you and to make your stay a comfortable one.
good and secure accomodation it was a good hostel with friendly stuff.. location is nice and busses and trains go close from hostel also. rent for a night is friendly aswell for students and backpackers. i recommended this hostel = )
The closest London Underground Station to International House is the Lambeth North Station and is on the Bakerloo Line, this station is about a 3-5 minute walk away from the International House. In addition, International House is also near Waterloo Station which houses the Jubilee Line, Northern Line, and Bakerloo Lines of the London Underground. Waterloo International Station also has extensive National Rail Services, and houses the Eurostar. Eurostar has regular service to Brussels, Paris, and Lille. Waterloo station is about 5-10 minute walk from International House.
